Can you answer yes to the following questions?

  • Are you a native English speaker?
  • Have you taken any language course or teacher’s training?
  • Are you frustrated with your current income?
  • Are you passionate about enabling others to grow?

If you can answer yes to all the above questions, the Online Teaching Training is for you! Rebecca will be hosting a teacher’s training in Cape Town and Pretoria in March and April 2020.

Having helped many teachers reach a point of earning between R15 000 and R30 000 per month from online teaching, the workshops will show you how you can transform your life too by building up an online English teaching practice of your own.

Please note that it is an absolute prerequisite that English is your first language and that you either have experience or training in teaching. If English is not your first language, you should have done an English teaching course and have an excellent command of English.

As a general linguist, Rebecca has studied five languages (English, Italian, Afrikaans, French and Xhosa) and deeply understands the processes necessary in order to acquire a second language. Since graduating from Stellenbosch University in 2013, she has lived in five different countries – Italy, Poland, Canada, the United States, and South Africa. Teaching English online, in person and doing other forms of language work like translation and proofreading for books has funded all her travels and even music projects.

“It has given me the freedom to work from anywhere in the world and do something that I’m passionate about, all the while seeing my students grow and achieve higher levels in their careers thanks to the right guidance.”

Teaching English online is so much more than just going through grammar rules. At this workshop, Rebecca will teach you everything you need to know about online teaching; from lesson plans to building a student base, you will even set up our own teacher’s profiles at the workshop. Rebecca will follow up with you to make sure that you get your first few students within 2 weeks after the event.

“Every time I come back to South Africa for a visit, many people approach me asking for help to get started with teaching English online. Even though I encourage and show people how I did it, I’ve noticed that it takes people months to feel ready to do the same. For this reason, I’ve designed the training to be more like a workshop where you will get practical and set up your own profile at the event.” – Rebecca
